My name is Bence Musinszky, and I am an illustrator/animation designer from Budapest, now living in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I graduated with a BA in animation design from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), where I participated in multiple animated productions and took part in the zine and printmaking scene of Budapest.

After my studies I spent a 10 month long full-time internship in Rotterdam at an alternative publishing house, mainly as an intern to the risography publishing department.

My work focuses on visual storytelling through illustration, comics, and animation. I explore reality and hardships through character studies, where emotions and relationships serve as filters for their experiences. I frequently draw inspiration from dreams, examining how they influence our daily lives, often expressing this exploration through sketches and diary comics.

Moving forward i would like to work with socially-concious companies, and ones that are focusing on community, and health. I am interested in woking in animation in pre-production (character design, art direction, storyboarding, writing) and illustration both editorial and kidlit inspired projects.

As well as developing self projects in the form of short films and publications.
